Qualifications

• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Navisworks or comparable modeling and coordination software; Revit experience is a plus.
• Ability to read civil construction drawings and understand grading, utility systems, and construction sequencing.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Degree or technical training in construction management, civil engineering, drafting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to work full-time in Plateau's Kennesaw, GA office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and coordinate civil sitework and underground utility models using current drawings, survey information, and design files.
• Combine models from project partners, run clash detection, and track coordination issues through resolution.
• Prepare coordination meeting materials, document decisions, and follow up with responsible team members.
• Review grading plans, utility profiles, and model revisions to identify discrepancies and support RFIs.
• Work with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and field teams to communicate coordinated information.
• Support model-based quantity takeoffs, construction sequencing, and project visualizations.
• Maintain model naming, file organization, revision tracking, and quality checks to keep project information current.

We are currently seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. This full-time position works in our office and is not remote. The BIM Coordinator helps connect design information with construction execution by maintaining coordinated models, identifying conflicts, and supporting project and field teams with accurate information.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and working closely with others to improve how projects are planned and built.
