Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a VDC Designer / BIM Coordinator for a leading construction and engineering organization supporting large-scale industrial projects in Boise, ID. This individual will play a key role in BIM coordination efforts, developing and managing Revit models, performing clash detection in Navisworks, and collaborating closely with MEP, structural, architectural, and field teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading coordination efforts, a strong understanding of MEP

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
• 1+ year leading BIM coordination efforts.
• Strong Revit and Navisworks Manage experience.
• Experience with clash detection and model federation.
• BIM 360/ACC experience.
• Understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes.
• Experience coordinating LOD 400 or 500 models.
• Comfortable working onsite at an active construction project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models in Revit.
• Perform clash detection and coordination in Navisworks.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams.
• Support field operations with construction-ready model views.
• Manage model sharing, version control, and issue tracking.
• Participate in and lead coordination meetings.
• Conduct model QA/QC reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and project leadership on-site.
• Resolve design and coordination conflicts throughout construction.

Duration: Permanent

Salary: $33-$37/hour

Location: Onsite in Boise, ID (project site)

Schedule: Full-time, 50 hours/week with OT (Monday - Friday)

Insight Global is seeking a VDC Designer / BIM Coordinator for a leading construction and engineering organization supporting large-scale industrial projects in Boise, ID. This individual will play a key role in BIM coordination efforts, developing and managing Revit models, performing clash detection in Navisworks, and collaborating closely with MEP, structural, architectural, and field teams. The ideal candidate will have experience leading coordination efforts, a strong understanding of MEP systems, and the ability to work onsite in a fast-paced construction environment. Experience supporting semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.

Must-Haves:

• 1-2+ years of experience in the AEC industry
• 1+ year leading BIM coordination efforts
• Strong Revit and Navisworks Manage experience
• Experience with clash detection and model federation
• BIM 360/ACC experience
• Understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes
• Experience coordinating LOD 400 or 500 models
• Comfortable working onsite at an active construction project

Plusses:

• Semiconductor or Data Center project experience
• Mechanical piping background
• Procore and Bluebeam experience
• Dynamo, Python, or PowerShell experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering
