Job summary

C&B Piping LLC in Leeds, AL is seeking an Experienced CAD Drafter to produce and revise 3-D BIM models and 2-D drawings for water and wastewater projects. The role requires strong Autodesk Revit skills and familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related CAD tools.

You will collaborate with project engineers and construction staff, ensure drawings meet standards, and support design documentation. An associate degree in CAD/design and 1–3 years of field experience are expected, with

Proficiency with multiple CAD packages and BIM workflows.
Strong communication in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Primarily prepare and revise 3-D models using BIM software.
Prepare and revise 2-D drawings and 3-D models in Autodesk Revit.
Create and revise layouts for equipment, piping, instrumentation and structures.
Revise drawings from sketches and instructions.
Use Redline system and keep drawings updated.
Communicate with engineers, managers, contractors and staff.
Contribute to graphics standards and design documentation.
Assist with plotting, filing originals, and PDFs.
Test CAD/CAE tool updates for compatibility and new features.
Support engineering and maintenance tasks as needed.
