Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced CAD/BIM Drafter to join our Atlanta office.

You will develop and coordinate design drawings and BIM models for fire protection, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and civil projects, from markups through construction documentation. The role requires 2+ years of BIM/CAD drafting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/CAD drafting experience (engineering office preferred).
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce drawings, exhibits, layouts, and construction documents across design phases.
• Incorporate engineer redlines and design changes accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Assist with field verification, existing-condition documentation, and site surveys.
