We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist / Senior Billing Specialist to join our team remotely in India.

Job Title: Billing Specialist / Senior Billing Specialist

Location: Hyderabad (Currently work from home)

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Shift: US hours – Night shift (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST)

Joining: As early as possible

Role: Permanent position

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable follow-up and denial management, specifically handling claims denials/rejections for US healthcare clients.
• Experience working with websites like CHAMPS, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.
• Proficiency with Aging Analysis Reports, Code Sets, Medicaid eligibility, and related processes.
• Knowledge of ABN, COB, Medicare reconsideration/appeals, birthday rule, and use of CHAMPS website.
• Experience in denials management, AR fundamentals, rejections, and appeals.
• Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with multiple insurance portals for eligibility, claims status, payments, and disputes.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive appeal documentation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs and Payment Vouchers.
• Experience in Allergy and Oncology billing is a plus.
