Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Billing Specialist for a remote role to ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing data and to support payment reconciliation within our finance team. You will validate inputs, assist with adjustments and re-billings, and maintain thorough documentation for audit purposes.

A HS diploma/GED and at least 6 months in billing or related fields are required, with strong Excel skills.

Job Description

The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, supporting payment reconciliation processes, and maintaining thorough documentation of billing-related activities. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the organization by validating billing inputs, assisting with adjustments and re-billings, and ensuring all records are properly maintained for audit and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Validate billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in reconciling payments, adjustments, and re-billings
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of billing, payment, and related financial activities
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
• 6 months of work experience in Billing, Reconciliations, Collections, or Pharmacy

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Ability to analyze data with a high level of accuracy and consistency

Potential pay for this position ranges from $17.85 - $25.48 based on experience and skills.
