Qualifications

Summary

As a Billing Specialist at DSV, you will carry out the day-to-day billing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Your role involves processing billing audits, resolving standard billing issues, and supporting the billing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing data, including rates, charges, and contract terms.
• Review billing data and reports to identify discrepancies and support process improvement.
• Conduct regular checks to validate billing accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain billing systems, ensuring data integrity and accurate records.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine billing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Communicate billing policies, procedures, and requirements to customers and internal teams as needed.
• Investigate and resolve standard billing issues, discrepancies, and disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and global key account managers, to address billing-related matters.
• Support efforts to streamline billing processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Apply established best practices and standards for billing operations to maintain accuracy and effectiveness.
• Prepare regular billing reports and metrics for management review.

Educational background / Work experience

• Bachelor's degree is preferred in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in billing or accounting are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $24.60 - $30.75 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
