This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 08:30AM – 05:00PM EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

If you are located in CST or EST Time zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Handle a heavy call volume including inbound calls via phone queue and make outbound calls to clients, patients, carriers and/or any internal or external source as needed to obtain missing or additional information.
  • Research, obtain, and enter missing information/demographics for completion of accessions.
  • Demonstrate competency in eligibility, billing and receivable systems and associated applications.
  • Educate external customers on how to provide complete billing information and avoid additional contacts for information.
  • Inform customers of billing problem/issue findings and resolution as appropriate.
  • Respond to account inquiries through written correspondence.
  • Handle sensitive client and patient interactions.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions.
  • Generate and/or distribute reports and documentation to internal or external clients to obtain missing information.
  • Report problems, errors, and denial trends to management including PHI breaches.
  • Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, accuracy, quality, patient and client satisfaction and attendance.
