Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Billing Operations Leader to manage end-to-end billing, reconcile revenue recognition, and drive process improvements for SaaS and subscription environments.

You will collaborate across Finance, Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams to implement scalable billing systems, policies, and controls while mentoring a growing team in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years in Billing Operations, O2C, or Accounts Receivable in tech/ecommerce/subscription/SaaS.
• 2+ years leading billing or quote-to-cash initiatives as individual contributor.
• Hands-on experience with CPQ and multiple billing platforms plus ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and basic SQL.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and ASC 606 in invoicing and billing processes.
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) and AI-enabled process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own billing operations across strategic partners and revenue streams.
• Develop and maintain billing policies, SOPs, and quality controls with Finance, BD, and Revenue stakeholders.
• Build dashboards and KPIs for visibility into billing health and proactive issue resolution.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to scope and deliver billing system enhancements and automation.
• Lead cross-functional quote-to-cash projects from requirements through UAT to production launch.
• Ensure billing activities align with internal controls, audit requirements, and contractual terms.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve data quality.
• Mentor and support junior team members while scaling billing operations.
