The role ensures timely submission of clean claims, accurate payments posting, and resolution of billing discrepancies. Candidates should be detail-oriented, compliant, and skilled at collaborating with clinical and front-desk staff.

Qualifications

• Experience coding medical, dental, behavioral health, and ancillary services.
• Familiarity with FQHC coding requirements and payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assign CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM codes for all service lines.
• Submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, MCOs, and commercial payers.
• Review documentation for medical necessity and coding accuracy.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to improve coding accuracy and compliance.
• Stay updated on payer updates and coding changes.
