Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking an Insurance Eligibility Associate to verify coverage, obtain required documentation, and coordinate authorizations and CMNs. You will work across CPAP orders, EMR uploads, and billing systems to ensure accurate patient records and timely processing.

The role requires basic computer skills, clear written communication, and ability to perform routine calculations. You will collaborate with clinicians and office staff to keep data current in LITE and IBMi systems.

Qualifications

• Must have some knowledge of computer skills.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and staff.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required documentation.
• Process pending orders from CPAP Call Queue.
• Submit authorization requests via CMN Centralized Review/CAD.
• Process authorization requests via PAR Task Tracker in LITE.
• Update items in LITE Customer Master and IBMi Customer Maintenance.
• Key authorizations and CMNs on accounts.
• Upload authorizations and medical documentation to EMR (Medforce/Task Tracker).
• Create and print CMNs for physician offices.
• Work Held Sales and manage billing restart when needed.

This employee verifies insurance eligibility, reviews and obtains necessary documentation to fulfill insurance medical policy guidelines, and requests key authorizations and CMNs.

Job Responsibilities

• Pull, process, and release pending orders from the CPAP Call Queue
• Pull and process authorization request submitted from the field through the CMN Centralized Review/CAD program
• Pull and process authorization requests submitted through the PACD queue in LITE Order Entry
• Process items received through PAR Task Tracker in LITE
• Update items as needed in LITE Customer Master
• Update items as needed in IBMi Customer Maintenance
• Key authorizations and CMNs on accounts
• Work Held Sales with the ability to delete and restart billing as needed
• Upload authorizations and medical documentation to the patient's EMR through Medforce and/or Document Task Tracker and PAR Task Tracker in LITE
• Create and print CMNs to submit to physician offices
