Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Billing Analyst to manage the preparation and issuance of billings and to maintain internal customer contract setups in the firm’s software systems.

The role requires two or more years in Billing/AR, strong Excel/Word skills, and experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP. The position involves processing monthly invoices and supporting contract changes, with a client-service focus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience in Billing and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) required.
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, required.
• Oracle Fusion or other project-based ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Billing Analyst is responsible for the preparation / issuance of assigned billings and the maintenance of internal customer contract setups within the firm‘s software systems.

• Processes monthly billing and on-demand client invoices through ServiceeNow queue.
• Proofs and ensures accuracy of invoices
• Assists with client, project or contract changes as needed for invoice generation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Education:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, required
• Associate or Bachelor degree, preferred
• Experience:
• Two (2) or more year’s experience in Billing, and/ or Accounts Receivable (AR) role, required
• Experience within a professional services firm, preferred
• License/Certifications: N/A
• Software:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, required
• Proficiency with SharePoint preferred
• Oracle Fusion or other project based ERP systems , required
• Language: N/A
• Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Displays superior verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels
• Possesses superior customer service skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-drive environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail
• Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or in coordination with other administrative or management professionals
• Understands and maintains the confidentiality of all information
• Excellent time management skills

Salary

• Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
• National Range: $24.04/hr - $28.85/hr
• Maryland Range: $24.04/hr - $28.85/hr
• NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $24.04/hr - $28.85/hr
