Job summary

McInnis Cement is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to manage daily and month-end billing, generate customer statements, and support related financial reporting. You will coordinate with Inside Sales to resolve pricing issues and ensure timely invoicing for multiple plants.

Strong data entry skills and communication are essential, with attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily and month-end billing for assigned plants.
• Ensure month-end tasks are finished by the stated deadlines.
• Prepare and send month-end reports to departments; overtime may be required.
• Follow up on billing issues and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to resolve pricing issues.
• Process additional billing for rentals, testing, and services.
• Maintain Production to Billing and Inventory spreadsheets.
• Track lost yardage and report to Operations.
• Provide backup to the billing team and assist with invoices mailing.

Summary / Job Scope

The Billing Analyst is responsible for the timely completion of daily billing, month‑end billing and customer statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for billing assigned range of plants
• Completed for previous day by 1pm
• Month end completed by 10am on the 1st business day
• Month end reports compiled and sent to appropriate departments (some overtime may be required at month end)
• Responsible for timely follow‑up and documentation of billing issues
• Work closely with Inside Sales Coordinator and Salesmen to resolve pricing issues
• Responsible for additional billing sent by Sales Coordinator (i.e., rentals, testing, additional services)
• Maintain Production to Billing spreadsheet
• Maintain Inventory Exceptions spreadsheet send to Operations monthly
• Track lost yardage and send reports to Operations
• Requires a high‑level of attention to detail and accuracy while completing tasks in a timely manner
• Provide backup for other billing team members
• Assist with sorting, filing and mailing of invoices and statements

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have good computer / data entry skills
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
• Must possess problem‑solving skills
• High School Diploma required. Prefer minimum 2 years of college; or one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $ 24.90 to $ 27.50 per hour
