Job summary

Bruker EST in Carteret, NJ is seeking a Billet Packing Technician on the 2nd shift to support manufacturing. The role requires reading procedures, using calipers/mmicrometers, and assembling etched parts in a clean room. You must lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work overtime as needed.

Typical duties include maintaining paperwork, supporting Lean practices, and following safety rules. English communication and basic math/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills (Excel).
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Position Overview:

This position is a key role in our manufacturing production facility.

This is a 2nd Shift role with normal working hours between 3PM to 11:30PM.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated hourly range for this full-time position is between $18.00/hr and $25.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position.
