Job summary

Helpline Youth Counseling in Norwalk, CA is seeking a licensed-eligible clinician to provide wraparound and outpatient therapy to youth and families in community settings.

You will conduct family-centered assessments, develop plans, coordinate services with social services, probation and schools, and ensure culturally and linguistically responsive care across home, school, and foster environments.

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking is a requirement.
• Must have Wraparound trainings and certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with culturally diverse clientele and staff.
• Familiar with Windows OS, MS Word, Excel and email.
• California driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass TB screening and two fingerprints.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conducts family-centered, strengths-based, culturally competent intakes/assessments in office or field.
• Incorporates healthcare, substance abuse, housing in treatment plans.
• Completes service and coordination plans and DMH documentation within 2–3 days.
• Administers outcome measures to clients identified for treatment.
• Provides rehabilitative services and links to community resources.
• Offers outreach, advocacy, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Provides case management and links to services for families.
• Delivers services in community or field per program requirements.
• Collaborates with treatment team for coordinated care.
• Demonstrates cultural and linguistic responsiveness.
