Job summary

The Fedcap Group in New York is seeking a Work Readiness Facilitator to deliver life skills, work readiness, and financial empowerment training to WeCARE participants. You will coordinate with VRS staff to refer job-ready participants to positions that match their skills.

Responsibilities include developing curriculum, leading group sessions of up to 25, educating on benefits and budgeting, applying motivation techniques, and ensuring accurate attendance and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Three years of group teaching or training experience, including at least one year with adult students.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Develop life skills, financial empowerment, and work readiness curricula and lessons.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual groups up to 25 participants.
• Educate participants on cash assistance benefits, budgeting, and transitioning to self-sufficiency.
• Apply motivational techniques to improve outcomes and program results.
• Coordinate with vocational rehabilitation and employment services staff.
• Work with job developers to identify job-ready individuals.
• Assist with on-site and virtual attendance and engagement timekeeping.
• Record missed appointments and excused absences accurately.
