Connect Staffing in Houston, TX is seeking two experienced Welders for a manufacturing company specializing in engineered filtration and separation solutions. The role focuses on fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal components using TIG and Stick welding to produce high-quality welds in a professional shop environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical welding background, read blueprints, and can communicate in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational welding training required.
• At least 1 year welding experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and technical instructions.
• AWS or equivalent welding certification is a plus.
• Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment around heat, sparks, fumes, noise.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components using welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare metal materials for welding and fabrication.
• Operate welding equipment using TIG, Stick, or other approved welding processes.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, alignment, strength, and quality.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and the work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned.
