Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Utilities Clerk at our Dallas Fort Worth Berry Street location to support store operations, primarily in the Produce Department and assisting customers on the floor.

You will bag groceries, help carry out groceries when needed, maintain a clean and safe store, retrieve carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs and checkout area upkeep, and perform lifting and walking as part of a fast-paced grocery environment. Reasonable accommodations may be available.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store maintenance, especially in Produce, and help customers on the floor as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Retrieve carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, and upkeep of checkout area.
• Remove waste from the parking area. Works in a fast-paced grocery environment.
