• At least one semester of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Use strategies and activities which result in increased student performance in content area and on standardized assessments.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodation for individual differences.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials for individual needs.
• Communicate and promote high performance expectations and recognize excellence.
