Job summary

Zions Bancorporation in Wilder, Idaho, is seeking a Bilingual Teller (40 hours) to join our retail team. You will help customers by processing transactions, opening accounts, and offering banking solutions to improve their financial futures.

You will balance tills, provide attentive service, and cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs while maintaining high accuracy and professionalism throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with some cashiering or customer service experience.
• Basic math, balancing, and knowledge of banking products.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately and maintain balancing records.
• Open accounts, issue ATM cards, transfers, checks, and loan payments as needed.
• Resolve client problems directly or by referral to appropriate resources.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and serve customer banking needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum pay is $17 per hour

Work schedule is: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-6pm

This role will:

• Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client problems either through direct personal action, or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell banks opportunities through exploring needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs.
