Job summary

Ascend Healthcare in Oregon is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide telemedicine counseling to patients across Oregon. This fully remote role requires an active license and comfort working with pediatric patients.

You will deliver evidence-based therapies, document care, participate in supervision and case planning, and help families stabilize and recover from behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
• Willingness to work primarily with pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care modalities of evidence-based practices to best meet the clinical needs of the patients.
• Implements modalities in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Reviews and signs psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, and consents.
• Documents all services and activities in the patient record following best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts crisis intervention based on the safety plan.
• Participates in multidisciplinary case planning as new information is gathered.
• Engages in supervision and ongoing education to maintain competency.
• Provides case management to promote recovery and community reintegration.
