Job summary

A local school district is seeking a Bilingual Teacher to work at Riley Elementary School. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction in both Spanish and English to K-8 students identified as English Learners (EL). Candidates must have a Professional Educator License and a Bilingual Spanish Endorsement. Strong communication skills and flexibility are required. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with teams to enhance EL students' reading and writing skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for planning and teaching students in a K-8 building that have been identified as EL.
• Deliver instruction in both Spanish and English.
• Understand second language learners' needs.
• Adjust instruction based on individual student needs.
• Translate between languages both orally and in written form.
• Collaborate with grade level teams to support EL students in English reading and writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
