Job summary

A nonprofit educational organization in La Habra is seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join their team of Parent Education Instructors. The Teacher will present workshops for parents, assign homework, and track student progress. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English and hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Teaching experience and certifications in Google and TESOL are preferred. This role aims to help parents equip their children for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a substitute teacher is preferred.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Present workshops for parents and families at assigned school sites.
• Assign homework and grade assignments.
• Track students’ progress and report behavioral incidents.
