Pay Range: $31,000 - $81,000 + $3,000 sign‑on bonus.

Job Description

A certified Bilingual SLPA or SLP‑CF will implement treatment programs for pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional disabilities, administering speech therapy services in the home and community.

Requirements

• Texas State SLPA License
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and meet patient and family needs by implementing speech therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising speech therapist.
• Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning, improving independence through skilled interventions.
• Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to transfer therapeutic activities into the child’s daily routine.
• Ensure continuity of care after discharge by designing & instructing home exercise programs for patients and caregivers.
• Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and confidence.
