Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting is hiring a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based role in the west Houston area, at an elementary school in Katy, TX for the 2026-27 year. This is a part-time, in-person position with a schedule you can create with the school.

The bilingual SLP will complete speech evaluations, provide therapy, attend ARD meetings, and offer consultation to school staff. Starting pay is $63/hr, with comprehensive benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience providing school-based speech services.
• Ability to practice without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech evaluations for students.
• Deliver speech-language therapy to eligible students.
• Attend ARD meetings to discuss student progress.
• Provide consultation to school staff on speech-language services.
