Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking a Spanish Teacher for West Park Bilingual Academy in Cleveland, OH. The role requires a current Ohio teaching license and a bachelor's in education or related field.

You will design lessons, differentiate instruction, and monitor student progress in a bilingual, project-based setting. You will collaborate with staff and families to support student growth and integrate technology into daily practice while maintaining records and participating in school-wide culture

Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort in growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks and supervise students in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
