Job summary

AT&T in Clifton, New Jersey is hiring for a part-time Retail Sales Consultant. You’ll guide customers with a consultative approach, drive sales targets, and earn uncapped commissions, with pay influenced by geography and experience.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a 9am-9pm schedule on busy store hours, and a strong focus on delivering friendly, personalized service across AT&T’s products and services.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred; prior customer-facing sales helpful.
• Experience in retail or consumer electronics is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product options using a consultative sales approach.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and earn uncapped commissions.
• Handle online orders, events, and outbound calls to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of AT&T products and services to upsell effectively.
• Support store operations and provide excellent customer service.

Let’s Talk About What To Expect

• On the sales floor, you’ll use a consultative sales approach, guiding customers through their options. This is where your drive and passion for helping people will really shine.
• You’ll be a part of the community through events, filling online orders, and making outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• You’ll work a schedule between 9 am-9 pm, including weekends, so you can be there when our customers need us. Monthly seniority-based schedules are available 2 weeks in advance.
• This is a fast‑paced environment; being flexible and open to change will help you stay current with evolving tech and all the ways we work to meet customers’ needs.
• Prior retail or customer‑facing sales experience is a plus. No sales experience? We’ll provide you with the tools, training, and coaching you need to help you meet and exceed your goals.

Our new Retail Sales Consultant’s earn between $47,000 to $75,000, including hourly rate and our uncapped commission opportunities for our top sellers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Salary range is dependent on if all sales goals are met and/or exceeded.
