Job summary

Lakewood Church seeks caring, dependable teachers for its Spanish Children’s Ministry, Niños con Vida. You’ll create a safe, joyful classroom and minister to children from newborn to age 12.

Fluency in English and Spanish, teamwork, and a heart to serve families are essential. As a Ministry Teacher, you’ll use approved curriculum, support church missions, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to provide a welcoming, faith-filled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of volunteering, daycare, or teaching experience.
• One year of volunteering, daycare, or teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minister to children through teaching, guiding, comforting, and encouraging.
• Teach assigned curriculum with enthusiasm.
• Engage children at their developmental stages.
• Care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children.
• Maintain flexibility to work with newborns through age 12.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Ensure smooth classroom transitions and a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with Niños con Vida staff and volunteers.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to serve.
• Attend team meetings and trainings.
