Job summary

Achieve Beyond seeks pediatric evaluation clinicians to administer comprehensive evaluations in home and school settings across the New York metro area, including NYC’s five boroughs, Hudson Valley and Long Island, with travel as needed.

The role requires NYS Certified Special Educator (Birth-2 or Permanent) and bilingual Spanish; DAYC-2 and HELP experience is preferred to support our EI program and accurate reporting. We offer a collaborative culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• NYS Certified Special Educator: Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) or Permanent Special Education certificate.
• Bilingual Spanish is a must; bilingual extension required for preschool provision.
• Experience administering the DAYC-2 and HELP.
• Experience evaluating children birth - five years old is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and submit them in a timely manner.
• Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families and submit records within deadlines.

Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently offer our services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. LOCATION: Positions throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City

Job Responsibilities

• Administer evaluations in home and/or school based settings

• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines

• EI Evaluations program requires completion of the EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

$131-$153 per evaluation
