Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Assist with developing interventions to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills for in-home and school settings.
• Provide training and consultation for families in implementing positive supports and ABA-based interventions.
• Assist in goal development across communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help, and recreational skills.
• Assist in intake, observations, and initial behavior assessments.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress data, and provide feedback.
• Conduct IOA to ensure data accuracy and coach therapists to reduce discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.

Education

Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Master’s degree in related field (completed or pursuing) with BCBA pursuit

Overview

TO BE CONSIDERED CANDIDATE MUST MEET ONE OF THESE REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis,
• Completed or pursuing a m aster's i n a related field, AND pursuing a BCBA,
• Bachelor's Degree with 12 units in ABA courses.

AND be fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills, including creating materials for use with various behavior programs, including in-home therapy and at schools.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions to reduce interfering behaviors, in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and their child's specific goals.
• Assist with developing goals in a range of areas including communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.
• Assist the clinical supervisor in the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance, including providing on-going verbal and written feedback to Behavior Therapists.
• Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data, coach Behavior Therapists to reduce data discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
