Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to keep the front showroom stocked, fronted, and clean while assisting customers and performing sales preparations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will greet customers, locate merchandise, check in stock, and maintain planograms and displays.

You may occasionally handle cashier duties or make deliveries as business needs require. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team,

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if needed.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and assist with image and display tasks.
• Adjust displays, update planograms, and update price labels as required.
• Remove sale materials when sales end and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Collaborate with the store manager on weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
