Stanford Advanced Materials is seeking a bilingual Senior Accountant to manage domestic accounting operations and coordinate monthly reporting with the finance teams in China. The role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and close processes for US and international entities.

The ideal candidate will oversee intercompany activity, multi-currency accounting, and provide clear multilingual communication across time zones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Five+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close and GL responsibilities.
Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written.
Experience preparing or supporting consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
Experience with intercompany accounting, multi-currency transactions, and foreign-currency translation.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead portions of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and maintain a close calendar.
Coordinate reporting deadlines with accounting in China and other international locations.
Prepare consolidated financial statements and schedules for US and international entities.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.
Analyze revenues, costs, margins, working capital, and cash flow for management.
Support audits, tax filings, and internal controls.
