Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Orlando, FL. This part-time role runs 3PM–7PM on Fri, Sat, Mon, Wed, with a competitive $18/hour wage. Uniform provided. Ideal candidates will have US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, strong observation and reporting skills, and bilingual Spanish/English ability, plus active Florida

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to pass extensive screening processes.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Sharp visual attention and concentration.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Active Driver's License required.
  • Florida Class D License required.
  • Bilingual Spanish & English required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
  • Document observed events with detailed reports.
  • Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
  • Control access and verify visitor identities.
  • Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.
  • Ensure safety and protection of people and property.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they upscale in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard
  • Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
  • MUST HAVE ACTIVE DRIVER'S LICENSE
  • MUST HAVE FLORIDA CLASS D LICENSE
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) - Required
