Job summary

Point Quest Group in Conroe, Texas seeks an on-site Interpreter for the 2026/2027 school year. This PRN, on-call role supports students and families during meetings with teachers, SPED staff, and related service providers.

Must be fluent in English and at least one of the listed languages, with real-time interpretation skills and a commitment to confidentiality. A FERPA acknowledgment is required prior to placement.

Qualifications

• Must have professional fluency in English and at least one listed language.
• Experience providing interpretation in educational, healthcare, or community settings.
• Ability to pass a Simulated Interpretation Exercise.
• Strong verbal communication and real-time interpretation skills.
• Must pass background screening for school-aged populations.
• FERPA confidentiality protocol training and acknowledgment on file before placement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and related service providers to support student success and IEP goals.
• Provide interpretation during meetings, assessments, and other school activities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
