Job summary

Tindall Corporation in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Bi-Lingual Safety Technician to support our Environmental, Health, and Safety programs on the 3rd shift. You will work with safety specialists and production teams to identify hazards, conduct inspections, and promote safe work practices.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in safety or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of safety experience preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document routine plant safety inspections in production areas, yard operations, and maintenance shops.
• Assist in incident reporting and investigation to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Support safety compliance tasks per OSHA standards, SDS, and safety records.
• Assist with employee safety orientation, training, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain safety files, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
