Paychex seeks a bilingual safety and risk management specialist to support our PEO workers’ compensation program in Florida. The role involves onsite and telephonic client engagements, guidance on OSHA compliance, and underwriting collaboration to assess risk and pricing.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety manuals, training client management, and documenting interactions.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required.
• Associate's Degree - Preferred.
• 5 years of safety experience.
• Must be bilingual - Spanish/English.
• Detail oriented and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce favored.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and auditing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and government safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing risk and safety management service to PEO clients to ensure compliance with prior safety recommendations and safety action plans via onsite and telephonic communication.
• Provides guidance on OSHA and government regulations to promote safe work environments.
• Review Workers’ Compensation class codes for client and employee levels to ensure proper classification and premium collection.
• Performs initial client workers’ compensation and safety orientations to explain risk services and client responsibilities in the PEO relationship.
• Assesses risk levels to confirm classification and underwriting alignment with Paychex risk appetite.
• Conducts on-site prospect assessments to gather risk management information for underwriting decisions.
• Develops client/site-specific Safety Program Manuals to control injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitors client claim experience and conducts accident investigations; advises on corrective measures.
• Delivers safety training to client management to support risk programs and regulatory compliance.
• Documents all client interactions per department guidelines.
