Job summary

Celerion is seeking a full-time nurse to support clinical research trials in Tempe, AZ. Qualified RNs will perform vital signs, ECGs, blood draws, and related nursing tasks while training others in ECG procedures and AE reporting.

Requires AZ RN license, CPR, 1 year of clinical practice, and English/Spanish bilingual fluency; remote work not offered. Initial training Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in practicing state with current CPR certification.
• 1 year clinical practice experience with assessment skills.
• EMT-P/Paramedic or Respiratory Tech with ACLS desirable.
• Emergency/ICU experience preferred and bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing tasks: vital signs, ECGs, blood draws, etc.
• Train clinical associates on ECG and adverse event reporting.
• Conduct study procedures and ensure safety reporting to staff.
• Assess and report adverse events; assist with emergencies.
• May administer Informed Consent Forms.

• Celerionis seeking aFull-timeNurse to assist with our clinical research trials. This is a dynamic role working with a healthy population offering the ability to learn about clinical research and see the drug development process at work.

Essential Functions

• Qualified to perform all nursing tasks (vital signs, ECGs, draw blood, etc)
• Train clinical associates on Electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures, manual vital procedures and assessment skills related to reporting Adverse Events (A/E's)
• Perform other clinical procedures necessary for study conduct
• Certified to perform, monitor, and/or train invasive and non-invasive dosing procedures
• Assess and identify and report adverse events to medical staff (safety nurse, medical director, physician)
• Able to implement and execute emergency procedures
• May administer Informed Consent Forms

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses

• RN (licensed in practicing state)
• 1 year of clinical practice experience with assessment skills
• Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic (EMT-P) or Respiratory Technician with Advanced cardiac life support or other emergency experience desirable
• Emergency or Intensive Care medical experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to respond to study participant needs (i.e. lifting, bending, crouching, etc.)
• Exposure to human biological samples
• Strong assessment skills

• Flexible work schedule up to 40 hours (Thurs-Sunday) or (Friday-Monday)
