Job summary

Omni Family Health seeks a dedicated Dietitian to coordinate dietary and nutritional services under the Director of Nursing. You will design and implement nutrition care plans, collaborate with other departments, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulations at the center.

You will educate patients and groups, interpret dietary needs for diverse populations, and develop protocols updated annually. A BS in Dietetics and experience in ambulatory settings are preferred; bilingual candidates are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Dietetics required.
• Experience in ambulatory health center preferred.
• Familiar with and sensitive to various cultures, eating customs and foods, especially Hispanic culture.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, arranging and conducting dietetic programs.
• Conduct education and counseling programs for patients and groups.
• Counsel patients on dietary needs by disease, pregnancy, and other factors.
• Review and evaluate nutrition research and update protocols annually.
• Coordinate with clinical, health education and community staff to provide services.
• Utilize lab values and patient criteria to guide care.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support QA/QI activities and electronic health record usage.
