Job summary
Silverride in Alhambra, CA is seeking bilingual Mandarin/English independent contractor drivers to help seniors access medical appointments, social outings, and daily activities using our ride-share platform.
Requirements include an own 2015+ SUV/minivan, valid CA license, clean driving record, and at least 1 year of senior care experience. Vaccinations (COVID-19 and influenza) are required where applicable. Pay is $29/hour with weekly payments and a $200 completion bonus.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese and English.
- At least 1 year of experience working with seniors 55+.
- Own a 2015+ SUV or minivan in good condition (state inspection pass).
- Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Provide door-through-door transportation for seniors.
- Ensure safe driving and punctual service.
- Coordinate with clients and the platform for schedule and routing.

Help older adults get to medical appointments, social outings, and more with our unique door-through-door transportation service.

Essential Contractor Requirements:
- Your Own Vehicle: 2015 or newer SUV or minivan in good condition (must pass state inspection).
- Valid OR Driver's License: Clean driving record and valid vehicle insurance.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with seniors aged 55+.
- Background Check: No felonies or DUI/DWIs.
- Vaccinations: Current COVID-19 (minimum 2 doses) and Influenza vaccinations.
- Language: Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin and English.
- Age: 21 or older.
Credentialing Support: Depending on client contract requirements, you may need additional credentials. If you don't already have them, we'll provide support to help you obtain them!
