Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certified in Pediatrics preferred; Board Eligible required.
• Current and unrestricted California Medical License required or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances in California.
• Current BLS certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in pediatric primary care preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (Required).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pediatric examinations, including well-child visits, developmental screenings, and preventive health assessments.
• Provide comprehensive primary medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in accordance with guidelines.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and injuries.
• Administer and monitor immunizations according to vaccination schedules.
• Monitor growth milestones and identify delays or concerns.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families on health, prevention, nutrition, safety, and development.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in organizational initiatives.
• Ensure licensure, CME credits, and ongoing professional development.
