Job summary

Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant for the Bandera Clinic. This seasonal-full-time role supports providers, triages patients, and helps families navigate visits.

You will assist with exams, administer medications and vaccines, perform CLIA-waived testing, and keep real-time documentation. The position requires a high school diploma, Medical Assistant training, BLS, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant education or certification required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Triage pediatric patients and gather accurate histories.
• Assist with exams and procedures while keeping kids comfortable.
• Administer medications and vaccines using safety protocols.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing and quality checks.
• Document in real time and close charts by shift end.
• Support patient flow during high-volume periods.
