Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN seeks a PRN Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to support the DOSE Study. This fully remote role involves about 15 hours per week of telehealth nutrition counseling using motivational interviewing to promote healthy behaviors in children and families.

Ideal candidates hold an RD/RDN credential and Tennessee licensure or willingness to obtain it; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credential required; Tennessee licensure preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant nutrition background.
• Experience with motivational interviewing and counseling families helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling per guidelines.
• Coordinate with study team and ensure fidelity of the curriculum.
• Maintain documentation and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver sessions remotely via telehealth; monitor progress and data accuracy.
• Support participant retention and program evaluation.
