Job summary

American Pediatric Dental Group in Florida is seeking a compassionate Bilingual Dental Assistant (Spanish-speaking) to join our pediatric team. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take and develop X-rays, and educate families on oral care.

This role requires Spanish fluency, prior dental assistant experience, and a friendly, patient-centered approach. Knowledge of dental software or EHR is a plus, and you will translate for Spanish-speaking patients

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant required, pediatric experience preferred.
• Spanish-speaking required to communicate with patients and parents.
• X-ray certification may be required by state.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation.
• Provide translation services for Spanish-speaking patients and families.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
