Job summary

Community Health Center of Enfield is seeking a Patient Service Associate to greet and schedule patients, manage our busy phone system, and serve as the first point of contact. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service, handle data entry, and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

This role requires an associates degree in medical office or medical assisting, bilingual Spanish, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in medical office or medical assistant required.
  • Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, visitors and callers.
  • Oversee the reception area to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable atmosphere.
  • Greet patients and visitors and assist them as appropriate.
  • Review schedules daily for accuracy and fill appointment opportunities.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments per CHC guidelines.
  • Collect, verify, update and document patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Resolve patient visits and reconcile daily activities.
