Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, delivering parts to professional customers safely and efficiently. This role includes handling COD deliveries, collecting payments, picking up returns, and supporting store operations with courteous service.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged; driving record standards apply, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the company's 14/18-point record system.
Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money secure at all times.
Pickup customer returns and complete driver return slips.
Assist customers and perform cashier/merchandising tasks as needed.
Report maintenance needs or incidents to the store manager immediately.
Ensure vehicle is fueled and secured at end of day.
Clock in/out per policy and perform other duties as assigned.
