Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using handheld devices, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform other duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands as assigned.
• May assist customers as cashier or with merchandising tasks when needed.
