SEIU 32BJ Training Fund seeks a part-time bilingual OSHA General Industry instructor to teach in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The role focuses on Spanish and English instruction for adult learners and requires OSHA training certifications.

Classes are primarily on weekends with some weekday/weeknight sessions. Compensation includes hourly teaching rates plus paid prep and travel time, supporting professional development and on-site training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish and English required.
• Previous experience teaching Spanish to adult learners.
• OSHA Trainer certifications (511 and 501) required.
• 5 years of related industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse settings.
• Ability to use digital platforms to instruct and record data.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned to the program curriculum.
• Maintain and submit records of attendance.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
