Job summary

PMC Medical Staffing seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our care team in Dalton, GA. The bilingual (Spanish/English) NP will provide direct and indirect patient care full-time, with a Day Shift on Weekdays and Epic EMR utilized.

Requirements include an active GA or compact license, at least 1 year in family, internal medicine, or urgent care, BLS, and a DEA license (preferred or willing to obtain). Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for patient communication.

Qualifications

• Active GA or Compact State License
• 1 Year Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care Setting Required
• DEA license (preferred or willing to obtain)
• BLS Certified
• Must be bilingual (Speaking both English & Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
• Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physicians’ protocols
• Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
• Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
• Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
• Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
• Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
• Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
