Job summary

Des Plaines School District 62 is seeking a Russian-speaking Multilingual Learner Paraeducator for Forest Elementary School. You will support students in classrooms, assist with instruction and language development, and help with behavioral management to promote academic and social success.

This is a full-time, 10-month position ($19.10/hour starting, $20.10/hour with 3 years of paraeducator experience or a Bachelor's degree). ISBE paraprofessional license is required or eligibility to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for an ISBE Paraprofessional license.
• Full-time, 10-month school year (180 days).
• Experience assisting with classroom instruction and behavior management preferred.
