Chicago Public Schools seeks a bilingual classroom teacher to support LEP students, plan lessons, administer language assessments, and monitor progress. Must hold an Illinois teaching license with a bilingual endorsement and complete student teaching requirements; strong communication with families is essential.

Responsible for maintaining attendance, enforcing discipline per the Uniform Discipline Code, and participating in in-service and after-school activities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain Illinois licenses.
• Must have Illinois bilingual endorsement for the taught grade level.
• Knowledge of state certification requirements and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs and collaborate with staff and families.

Responsibilities
